New Club Development Officer

LAJFC are delighted to announce that Michael Robinson has joined the Club Committee and will take on the role of Club Development Officer, leading on Coach Development.

“Robbo” has already been a huge support to our newer teams and coaches, and this appointment strengthens our commitment to raising standards and supporting every coach across the club.

In this role, Robbo will:

  • Lead and oversee a clear coaching development pathway across all age groups
  • Act as a mentor and main point of contact for coaches
  • Support coach education, qualifications, and ongoing learning opportunities
  • Observe sessions where appropriate and provide constructive feedback
  • Promote player-centred, age-appropriate coaching in line with FA guidance
  • Support safeguarding, welfare, inclusion, and good practice standards
  • Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of coaches
  • Work closely with the Committee, Welfare Officer, and County FA.

This is an important step forward as we continue building a strong, supportive environment for both players and coaches.

Welcome to the Committee, Robbo 👏

📱 We’re also currently seeking a Social Media Manager for the club.

If you’re interested in getting involved and helping promote everything happening across our teams, please drop a member of the Committee a message.
