Litherland Athletic 1 – 3 Kelsall

A tough one for the lads today, and they’ll be the first to admit we just weren’t at the races.

We conceded early, which put us on the back foot straight away. It took going two goals down before we really woke up and started to show what we’re capable of.

Jack Matthews pulled one back on the 60th minute and gave us a lifeline, and we pushed to try and find an equaliser. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t to be, and we conceded again late on to put the game out of reach.

Credit to Kelsall, they came with a clear game plan and executed it well. Not our day, but we dust ourselves down and go again next week.
