South Sefton College – Back Open for training!
We are happy to confirm that after a couple months of maintenance work on our Training Pitches at South Sefton College, we can begin to use the facilities again from the week commencing Monday 5th August. Managers will advise date they will be starting back up.
The pitch has had a lot of work done over the last few months and we appreciate your patience, its had over 50 tonnes of top soil, completely re-seeded, verti-drained, fertilised, herbicide applied to kill weeds, and even more fertilising. Along with being freshly cut and pitches all marked out ahead of next week.
Works will be on going through out the training months with extra verti draining done and general up keep and maintenance. Hopefully we have now provided a better surface for training and we hope to keep improving it over the years, Wembley wasn’t built in a couple months! 😉
